Payment Terms
Transparent payment rules for wallet recharge, paid messaging, tips, and premium features.
1. Introduction
Funtoosh Wallet enables anonymous users to recharge, tip creators, purchase paid messages, and access premium features. These Payment Terms govern all financial transactions, complementing Wallet Policy, Refund Policy, Terms of Service, and Information Technology Act and consumer protection principles.
2. Definitions
- Wallet Recharge: Adding funds via UPI, cards, net banking, or Stripe.
- Paid Messaging: Creator sets price for DM access; user pays from wallet.
- Tips: Voluntary peer-to-peer payments to creators.
- Premium: Optional paid features like priority support and custom themes.
- Advertisements: Internal text-based promos marked Sponsored.
3. Wallet Recharge
- Methods: UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), Visa/Mastercard/RuPay, net banking in India; Stripe cards internationally where available.
- Minimum: ₹50 or $1; maximum per transaction: ₹50,000 or $600, subject to processor limits and fraud prevention.
- Processing: Funds credited instantly after payment confirmation; receipt via email and Wallet → History.
- Failed recharge: If debited but not credited, auto-refund initiated within 24 hours per Refund Policy.
- Currency: INR in India, USD internationally where Stripe available; conversion via processor rates.
4. Paid Messaging & Tips
- Creators set price per DM (e.g., ₹20–₹500) via Profile → Creator Tools; price must be transparent in profile per Payment Terms and Community Guidelines.
- User pays from wallet; 80% to creator, 20% platform fee for infrastructure, fraud prevention, security monitoring.
- Tips are voluntary, non-refundable, final; mediation available within 1 hour via Wallet → Transactions → Request Mediation, creator can voluntarily refund.
- Paid message access includes one thread; additional messages may require new payment per creator settings.
5. Premium Features
- Premium may include priority support, enhanced privacy controls, custom themes, faster edge routing.
- Monthly or annual plans, cancellable anytime via Settings → Premium → Cancel.
- Refundable within 7 days if no premium features used (no support tickets, no themes applied) per Refund Policy.
- Auto-renewal with reminder 3 days before renewal where required by consumer protection.
6. Fees, Taxes & Pricing
- Platform fee: 20% on tips and paid messages, disclosed at checkout.
- Payment processor fees: UPI typically 0%, cards 2-3% may be included or disclosed separately per region.
- Taxes: Prices include applicable GST in India where required or exclusive of VAT/GST where required; tax invoices available via [email protected].
- Price changes: 30-day notice for premium price changes, with option to cancel before new price.
7. Refunds
Refunds per Refund Policy: Wallet top-ups refundable within 24h if unused, duplicate charges refundable within 7 days, tips non-refundable, premium refundable within 7 days if unused, pro-rated for outage >48h. Process via Wallet → Transactions → Request Refund or [email protected], 5-7 business days to original method.
8. Payouts & KYC
- Minimum payout: $10 or ₹800 equivalent.
- Processing: 24-48h for verified creators, instant for trusted below $500 where available.
- Methods: Bank transfer (India, US, EU, Brazil), PayPal, future USDC where compliant.
- KYC: Optional below ₹50,000 or $600/month, mandatory above per Wallet Policy, handled via third-party provider, data per Privacy Policy and Data Retention Policy.
9. Fraud Prevention & Security Monitoring
- 2FA optional via TOTP authenticator app (no SMS for anonymity), withdrawal whitelist, device binding, anomaly detection for unusual patterns.
- Prohibited: Money laundering, stolen cards, chargeback abuse, tip farming, fake accounts farming bonuses per Anti-Spam Policy and Account Suspension Policy.
- We may hold or reverse transactions where fraud suspected, per Wallet Policy and security monitoring commitments.
10. User Responsibilities
- Verify amount before confirming recharge, paid message, or tip.
- Keep Email OTP secure, do not share wallet access, use blocking and reporting for unwanted paid requests.
- Provide accurate KYC where required and accurate information for refunds.
- Understand tips are voluntary, non-refundable, and creator earnings depend on engagement.
11. Platform Responsibilities
- Provide secure wallet recharge, paid messaging, premium features with privacy protection, security monitoring, fraud prevention, and transparent fees.
- Process payouts within stated timelines, provide receipts, and maintain Payment Terms transparency.
- Comply with applicable financial, tax, and data protection regulations, including DPDP Act and IT Act.

Statutory timelines we work to: acknowledgement within 24 hours; disposal within 15 days; prohibited content under Rule 3(2)(b) within 72 hours; non-consensual sexually explicit or morphed content under Rule 4(1)(p) within 24 hours; court or government orders under Rule 3(1)(d) within 36 hours. Removed content and the associated records are retained for 180 days for investigation purposes. These are the limits set by law for us to act within; they are not a guarantee of any particular outcome on any particular report.
Before we remove or disable content on our own initiative, Rule 4(8) requires us to notify you with reasons and give you a reasonable opportunity to dispute it. Automated tools may flag content, but a human reviews before any account-level action is taken. See the Transparency Report.
Your rights under the DPDP Act 2023
- Notice and consent (§5): we tell you what we collect and why before you agree, and you can withdraw consent at any time in Settings.
- Purpose limitation (§4, §6): your data is used only for running Funtoosh, safety, payments and legal obligations — never sold, never used to build advertising profiles.
- Access and correction (§11): you can view and correct your profile data in Settings.
- Erasure (§12): you can delete your account from Settings → Account. See Data Retention for what the law requires us to keep afterwards, and for how long.
- Retention limit (§8(7)): we erase personal data once the purpose it was collected for is over, unless a law requires us to keep it.
- Grievance redressal (§13): write to the officer named above, or use Grievance Redressal. Unsatisfied with the decision? Appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee within 30 days. Data protection queries: [email protected].
Age: Funtoosh is for users aged 18 and over. Under the DPDP Act 2023 a person under 18 is a Child and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. No guarantees: Funtoosh is provided on an as-is basis. Nothing on this page is a guarantee of any specific result, earning, delivery time or moderation outcome.
