Content Policy

1. Introduction

Funtoosh is a premium anonymous messaging platform where users communicate via pseudonymous usernames authenticated by Email OTP login. This Content Policy defines what content is allowed and prohibited across anonymous messaging, user profiles, wallet interactions, paid messaging, and internal advertisements. It complements Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Acceptable Use Policy, and User Conduct Policy.

2. Definitions

• Anonymous Messaging: Direct messages between pseudonymous users, encrypted in transit and at rest.
• User Profiles: Display name, bio, avatar, and discovery preferences that may be public if you opt-in.
• User Wallet: Internal ledger for wallet recharge, tips, paid messaging, and premium features.
• Advertisements: Internal text-based promotional content marked Sponsored, controlled via future admin panel.
• Content Moderation: Review of reported content for policy violations, preserving encryption for private messages.

3. Allowed Content

We encourage authentic, respectful, consensual anonymous communication:

• Private conversations, compliments, support, and community building
• Creative writing, art, music discussion (your own or with permission)
• Anonymous feedback, confessions, and advice where consensual
• Creator content that complies with Intellectual Property Policy and Payment Terms
• Profile bios that accurately represent you without impersonation

4. Prohibited Content

The following are prohibited across all surfaces:

1. Child Safety: Child Sexual Abuse Material, sexualization of minors, grooming, or romantic relationships between adult and minor — zero tolerance, immediate ban and legal report.
2. Non-Consensual Intimacy: Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual content shared without consent, or sexual harassment.
3. Violence & Self-Harm: Threats, incitement to violence, instructions for violent wrongdoing, or encouragement of self-harm. If in crisis, contact local helpline and see Safety Policy.
4. Hate & Harassment: Hate speech targeting protected characteristics, dehumanization, slurs used to attack, or repeated harassment after block.
5. Privacy Violations: Doxing (sharing phone, address, workplace, real name, school without consent), IP grabbing, location tracking, attempts to de-anonymize.
6. Fraud & Financial: Scams, phishing, crypto drainers, fake wallet recharge schemes, money laundering, chargeback abuse — triggers fraud prevention and account suspension.
7. Spam: Bulk unsolicited anonymous messages, discovery spam, wallet spam, advertisement spam per Anti-Spam Policy.
8. Illegal Goods: Drugs, weapons, regulated goods where prohibited by local law.
9. Impersonation: Impersonating real persons, brands, celebrities, or Funtoosh staff, or using official badges.
10. Copyright: Sharing copyrighted material without permission per Copyright Policy and Intellectual Property Policy.

5. Anonymous Messaging Specific Rules

• Anonymous does not mean consequence-free; harassment after block leads to suspension per Account Suspension Policy.
• Paid messaging must have transparent pricing per Wallet Policy and Payment Terms.
• Disappearing messages default 24 hours; you can set 10 seconds to 30 days. Screenshot alerts exist where OS allows but are not enforcement.
• Use blocking users and reporting users features for unwanted interactions.

6. User Profiles

• Profile must not contain hate, harassment, or prohibited content.
• Avatar must be your own or licensed; no impersonation.
• Bio must not contain phone, email, or external contact that encourages off-platform harassment.
• Discovery opt-in is optional; you can hide from discovery via Settings → Privacy.

7. Advertisements

Internal advertisements (Upgrade to Premium, Invite Friends, Creator Tools) are marked Sponsored, non-intrusive, no popups, no autoplay, controlled via future admin panel. User-posted ads are not allowed except via approved creator tools. Misleading advertisements can be reported via Safety Policy.

8. Content Moderation

We do not routinely read private conversations. Moderation is triggered for:

• Reported messages and profiles via in-app report, [email protected], or [email protected]
• Public discovery profiles and internal advertisements
• Automated spam detection, abuse detection, and fraud prevention on metadata only, not message content

Actions: warning, temporary mute, discovery removal, suspension, or permanent ban per Account Suspension & Termination Policy and Transparency Page.

9. Reporting & Appeals

• Report: Long-press message → Report → Select reason, or email [email protected] with message ID, username, timestamp.
• Review SLA: 4 hours for safety-related, 24 hours for others.
• Appeal: [email protected] with case ID within 30 days, separate team reviews per Transparency commitment.

10. User Responsibilities

• Follow Content Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, User Conduct Policy, Anti-Spam Policy, and Community Guidelines.
• Respect anonymity and privacy; do not attempt to de-anonymize or collect personal data.
• Use blocking and reporting for violations, not public shaming or retaliation.
• Understand paid messaging is voluntary and non-refundable per Refund Policy.

11. Platform Responsibilities

• Provide safety tools: blocking users, reporting users, disappearing messages, wallet limits, DM filters.
• Maintain content moderation for reported content, spam detection, abuse detection, security monitoring, and transparency via Transparency Page.
• Educate users via Trust & Safety, Security Page, and How Funtoosh Works.
• Preserve privacy protection and encryption while enforcing policies.
