Acceptable Use Policy

How you may and may not use Funtoosh anonymous messaging, wallet, and premium features.

1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy governs your use of Funtoosh, including anonymous messaging, Email OTP login, user wallet, wallet recharge, paid messaging, premium features, advertisements, user profiles, blocking users, reporting users, and content moderation. By using the Platform, you agree to use it only for lawful, respectful, and safe purposes per Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

2. Definitions

  • Platform: Funtoosh website, Android app, APIs, and related services.
  • Anonymous Messaging: Pseudonymous communication via username, encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • User Wallet: Internal ledger for recharge, tips, paid messages, payouts.
  • Abuse: Actions that harm users, platform integrity, or violate policies.

3. Permitted Uses

  • Private, consensual anonymous messaging with respect for boundaries and consent.
  • Creating authentic user profiles with opt-in discovery.
  • Using wallet recharge for tips and paid messaging within Payment Terms and Wallet Policy.
  • Blocking users and reporting users who violate policies.
  • Exploring internal advertisements marked Sponsored for premium and creator tools.
  • Accessing Security Page, Trust & Safety, Transparency Page for safety education.

4. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Funtoosh to:

  1. Engage in harassment, stalking, doxing, hate speech, or incitement to violence.
  2. Share child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexual content involving minors.
  3. Distribute spam, unsolicited bulk anonymous messages, or engage in wallet spam per Anti-Spam Policy.
  4. Commit fraud, phishing, money laundering, or circumvent fraud prevention and abuse detection.
  5. Attempt to de-anonymize users via IP grabbing, location tracking, or social engineering.
  6. Reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or disrupt security monitoring and edge network.
  7. Sell, buy, or trade accounts, wallet balances, or premium entitlements.
  8. Impersonate Funtoosh staff or use official badges without authorization.

5. Wallet & Payments Acceptable Use

  • Use wallet recharge only via supported methods: UPI, cards, net banking, Stripe.
  • Paid messaging must have transparent pricing; no bait-and-switch per Payment Terms.
  • Tips are voluntary and non-refundable per Refund Policy; do not coerce tips via threats.
  • Respect payout minimums and KYC requirements where applicable per Wallet Policy.

6. Advertisements Acceptable Use

Internal advertisements are for discovery of premium and creator tools only. Do not post your own advertisements via anonymous messaging or user profiles unless via approved creator tools. Do not attempt to inject ads via spam or discovery manipulation per Content Policy and Anti-Spam Policy.

7. Security & Abuse Prevention

  • Do not attempt to bypass Email OTP login rate limiting, OTP expiry, or secure cookies.
  • Do not upload malware, attempt SQL injection, XSS, or abuse security monitoring systems.
  • Report vulnerabilities responsibly via [email protected] per Security Page responsible disclosure.
  • Respect blocking: If blocked, do not create alternate accounts to contact blocked user (ban evasion).

8. Enforcement

Violations may result in warning, temporary mute, discovery removal, suspension, or permanent ban per Account Suspension & Termination Policy. Severe violations result in immediate ban and legal report where required. Appeals via [email protected] within 30 days, reviewed by separate team per Transparency Page commitments.

9. User Responsibilities

  • Use Funtoosh for lawful, respectful, consensual purposes.
  • Keep Email OTP secure, do not share session, and use blocking/reporting for unwanted interactions.
  • Follow all policies: Content Policy, User Conduct Policy, Anti-Spam, Intellectual Property, Grievance Redressal.

10. Platform Responsibilities

  • Provide safety tools, content moderation for reported content, spam detection, abuse detection, fraud prevention, and security monitoring.
  • Maintain transparent policies, Trust & Safety, and Transparency Page reporting.
  • Ensure wallet, paid messaging, and advertisements operate with privacy protection and fair fees.

Statutory timelines we work to: acknowledgement within 24 hours; disposal within 15 days; prohibited content under Rule 3(2)(b) within 72 hours; non-consensual sexually explicit or morphed content under Rule 4(1)(p) within 24 hours; court or government orders under Rule 3(1)(d) within 36 hours. Removed content and the associated records are retained for 180 days for investigation purposes. These are the limits set by law for us to act within; they are not a guarantee of any particular outcome on any particular report.

Before we remove or disable content on our own initiative, Rule 4(8) requires us to notify you with reasons and give you a reasonable opportunity to dispute it. Automated tools may flag content, but a human reviews before any account-level action is taken. See the Transparency Report.

Your rights under the DPDP Act 2023

  • Notice and consent (§5): we tell you what we collect and why before you agree, and you can withdraw consent at any time in Settings.
  • Purpose limitation (§4, §6): your data is used only for running Funtoosh, safety, payments and legal obligations — never sold, never used to build advertising profiles.
  • Access and correction (§11): you can view and correct your profile data in Settings.
  • Erasure (§12): you can delete your account from Settings → Account. See Data Retention for what the law requires us to keep afterwards, and for how long.
  • Retention limit (§8(7)): we erase personal data once the purpose it was collected for is over, unless a law requires us to keep it.
  • Grievance redressal (§13): write to the officer named above, or use Grievance Redressal. Unsatisfied with the decision? Appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee within 30 days. Data protection queries: [email protected].

Age: Funtoosh is for users aged 18 and over. Under the DPDP Act 2023 a person under 18 is a Child and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. No guarantees: Funtoosh is provided on an as-is basis. Nothing on this page is a guarantee of any specific result, earning, delivery time or moderation outcome.
